Terms and conditions

These are the terms and conditions of Bas Webdesign. You can reach us at info@baswebdesign.com and +31 6 15 17 28 37 (WhatsApp). In these terms, "we" and "us" means Bas Webdesign, and "you" means the client who gives us an assignment.

1. When these terms apply

These terms apply to our proposals and assignments for websites, webshops, redesigns and maintenance.

2. Proposal and approval

  • A request through our website is not an order. After an intro call you get a proposal with one fixed price.
  • The assignment starts when you approve the proposal. Only then do we begin.

3. Prices

  • All our prices are in euros and exclude VAT (btw).
  • The price in the proposal is a fixed price for the work described in the proposal.

4. Delivery

  • A fixed-price website (a one-pager or a website with up to 5 pages) is online within 2 weeks of your approval, once your texts and photos have been provided. If your texts and photos come in later, that period starts later.
  • For a webshop or redesign, the timeline is in the proposal.

5. Extra work

  • Work that is not in the proposal is extra work. An extra page costs €49.99 excl. VAT.
  • For other extra work, you hear the cost first. We only start once we have agreed on the price.

6. Ownership

Your website is always yours: the design, the files and the content. You receive all logins. If you want to switch, you take everything with you.

7. Hosting and domain name

We don't provide hosting and we don't register domain names. You get hosting and your domain name yourself from a hosting provider of your choice, in your own name. You make the arrangements for this with that provider.

8. Maintenance

  • There are three maintenance plans: Basic (€19.99), Plus (€39.99) and Complete (€59.99) a month, excl. VAT. What each plan includes is listed on our pricing page.
  • You can cancel maintenance any month.
  • The change time with Plus (30 minutes) and Complete (2 hours) applies per month. Time you don't use in a month expires at the end of that month and does not roll over.
  • If we did not build your website, we first take a look at it. If it's suitable for our maintenance, your plan starts.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

10. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms and to our assignments.
